LAKES KOHANGAPIRIPIRI and KOHANGATERA

This is a puffer and not something to try after a lot of rain! Leave the Eastbourne - Baring Head road at the 2nd lake - Lake Kohangatera and bump round it for some time to the right until you meet a large wooden bridge over the lake at the north end. This will introduce you to a long grinding hill where you'll get the view on the header. Down and up another grinder (not as bad) to more views, then down to the southern end of Lake Kohangapiripiri and back to the main Eastbourne - Baring Head route.
